Here is a brief outline about each Umbrella + Friends partner and the furniture pieces their presenting today.
Edsbyn
Nordic brand Edsbyn mark their 125th anniversary with a celebration of their Swedish heritage, design legacy and a new era presenting a series of pieces including the NEW Eski stool (by Luca Nichetto), the Troy Trolley (by Mario Ruiz), the Neat Table (by Thomas Eriksson), the Everlong Sofa and Modular Chairs (by Jens Fager) and the Eline Chair (by Claesson Koivisto Rune).
FDB Møbler
Danish brand FDB Møbler include both an interior and exterior furniture setting from the past and the present, with classic pieces designed by Poul Volther, Jørgen Bækmark and Børge Mogensen merged with more recent ‘future heritage’ pieces from designers including Carina Maria Nielsen, Stine Weigelt and Salto & Sigsgaard.
Le Klint
Danish lighting brand Le Klint present a stunning lighting display including flower inspired Bouquet Collection (by Sinja Svarrer Damkjær), the iconic minimalist Mutatio Table lamp (by Christian Troels), the Caché floor lamp combining craftsmanship and modernity (by Aurelién Barbry ) and the distinctive yet playful Carronade Lamp (by Markus Johansson).
ISOMI
The family-run British company Isomi blend innovative spirit with decades of expertise. Unveiling NEW ‘Tejo’, an innovative, fully sustainable modular seating system crafted from responsibly managed cork forests, made using production and waste processes that create a zero-waste, close loop reduction cycle.
Jott Studio
Jott Studio creates low impact, long lasting products distilled to their essential parts. Presenting C-01 Circular Armchair; circular in both form and ethos with its organic enveloping form, while being easy to disassemble for replacement parts and end of life recycling.
Normann Copenhagen
International design brand Normann Copenhagen showcases the BIT & VIG collections (by Simon Legald). The expanding Bit Collection made from plastic waste combines playful functionality with minimalistic style, and the outdoor Vig Collection blends durability and style, designed to withstand the elements.
Square Bear
Square Bear provides peace, focus, and creativity with acoustic and modular seating solutions. Presenting ‘Circolo’’ (by Patryk Koca) an infinitely modular soft-seating collection that offers comfort, focus, interaction, or relaxation with its geometric softness and curved, nestling pieces. Square Bear is the proud sister company of Thinking Works.
Swedese
Swedish furniture producer Swedese presents two novelties. The Pillo armchair (by Khodi Feiz) offers generous proportions and superior comfort and the Luna desk (by Broberg and Ridderstråle) is equally beautiful from every angle with its wide radius and sweeping round edges.
Ton
Ton work with natural materials to create products handcrafted for generations. and are showcasing the La Zitta chair (by Alexander Gufler) which reinterprets a traditional shape with contemporary proportions and details, and the Chair 314 (by Cleasson, Koivisto & Rune) which is based on tradition but dressed for the future.
True Design
True Design offers functional furnishing solutions to make your time extraordinary, every day. The NEW Essence Collection (by Norm Architects) is inspired by the very essence of wood and the NEW Lisa Lounger (by E-ggs) continues the collections stylistic signature curvature and structural lines, both partnered with the practical and elegant Tod stool and coffee table (by Parisotto+Formenton) plus the Fender Lounge Chair (Favaretto & Partners) with no limits to style, purpose and comfort.
T6
T6INT present the new 3M DiNOC RC interiors film; a film composed of 80% post-consumer recycled polyester and a coloured layer made with 20% scallop shell powder. A product that embodies a true commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility; dedicated to transforming spaces while preserving our planet.
Waste to Wonder Worldwide
Waste to Wonder Worldwide, a certified social enterprise, redistributes office furniture to schools and charities around the world; donating nearly £40m in equipment, diverting 2500 tons+ from waste disposal and achieving better than carbon-neutral results through reuse annual. Partnering with Wagstaff for 16 years, their ‘School in a Box’ program has provided safe drinking water to 12,000 people in The Gambia. Waste to Wonder will be sharing the impact of this partnership and how the School in a Box’ programme transforms lives around the world.
